Good 26” gravel tires?

I am trying to set up a good friend with a gravel bike on a budget. I have found a Bridgestone MB5 and am wondering what good affordable gravel tires are recommended ? No Rat Trap Pass or other chi chi models. I use Gravel Kings and think they’re great - can I find these in 26x2.0” kinda size?!

Any other options to consider?

I was considering making my old MTB a monster gravel bike at one time (too much $$ ultimately) and found the "semi slicks" at forum sponsor bike tires direct had plenty of options, here: https://www.biketiresdirect.com/sear...lick-mtb-tires

to your question, no Panaracer doesn't have a 26 version of the GK, though

Rene Herse has a few options for 26" tires. Smooth or knobby.

I think you got your answer, you like GKs and they are avail. but they will not be as nice as the chi chi rat trap pass or that new one with the knobbies. I am glad to see 26in being back

Or SpeedKing Racesport - not knobby, 50g lighter, rolls great on pavement but fine for offroad

Yes, very stoked there are more high quality 26" tire options out there.

Coming some time later this year are the Ultradynamico Mars tires:

Haha, yes I suppose so. But GK's are like $53 and the Ultra's are $65 so not a huge difference there. Definitely different tread pattern though!
