I currently own 3 pairs of jeans.
2 from Mugsy - https://mugsyjeans.com/collections/c...ble-mens-jeans
1 from Levi's and they are from 1988 and are acid washed.

The Mugsy's are nice, kinda pricey, but comfortable, flexible, and they have a good variety. Stretchy but not yoga pants.

Rag & Bone is my go-to for jeans and chinos. They can be had for less than $100 if you're thrifty. USA-made, many colors/washes to choose from, three different fits available. All pants come with one inseam length(around 34"/35"), tailor to fit.

It’s all about comfort nowadays. Lee Carpenter jeans. They have a nice little side pocket for my phone.

Bonobos

I'm still not sure what I think of it, but my son prodded me to transition to Bonobos for chinos and jeans.
I'm much-more mesomorph than ectomorph and I'm buying the pants with a little stretch, but I have to say that I'm very acclimated, at this point, to their athletic-fit pants.

My son, who is long and lean, wears 'em, too. A different cut, but he loves them.

They are made here in the US, they are comfortable and fit well. Lots of different washes and fits.

If its for working around the house, my go to are Lee Jeans.

There are lots of good options Heritage 34, Paige, Fidelity.... Lots. I used to think that Lucky were good, AG.... WAY BETTER.
Also AG fan - good jeans, lots of options. Definitely only buy on sale as retail price is too high and for suckers.
Last time in Bay area picked up some Levis on sale at their downtown store - nice pants, excellent fit.
FYI I wear 32x34

Um, I didn't actually agree to wear *pants.*

I like thrifting for jeans. Because they're so fit dependent, I like the erratic diversity of brands and models to find something that fits me well. I guess not many places are as good for thrifting as NYC though, so there's that.

No jeans for me for a few years now, if I want to be uncomfortable I’ll just find a steep hill to climb

I live in denim...pre-pandemic anyway. I'm one of those dress-shirt, jeans and cap-toe dandies I guess.
I like Telleson, Taylor Stitch, ... I also have a bunch of Gustin. They are kinda hit and miss...I've got some really great denim from them, but gotten a few stinkers too.

I've got a pair of jackknife that I'm too afraid to wear.

If the statement on the pocket is true, it's no wonder they went under. Crazy good workmanship though. Crazy good. They still owe me money!
