River Bottoms, Long Overdue!
I messed up. I was supposed to ride with some friends on Friday morning on our gravel bikes from Northfield to Wanamingo but when I went to bed last night, I thought it was still Wednesday! I missed the ride. That's the suckiest thing about retirement—forgetting what day of the week it is. 🤷🏽*♂️
I opted to jump on my mountain bike instead and head for the river bottoms. It was a long overdue trip to the river trails! Kevin g Come on along! There's a New Feature at the River Bottoms!
A large crevasse has opened up in the last two weeks along the south side of the river a little less than a mile east of Cedar Ave. For some, I suppose it will make for a nice feature, while it lasts.

Saturday Gravel
My road bike has been getting the nod mostly this riding season. But not yesterday. I opted for 54 miles of quiet (with the exception of one chasing dog), and beautiful rural farm roads.
