It's only nefarious when it happens in New England?
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...ittsburgh-too/ Funny, Tomlin didn't whine about it then. |

If Belichick can pull the defense together, they have a shot again. They clearly are a playoff team.

Ok, first week is in the books and I went online today to try find the before/during/after PSI measurements from this week's games to see if, and how much variation there was during real world playing conditions.
Couldn't find anything, then I did some more research and discovered that the NFL is not doing this! They're only doing the measurements during a 'random' selection of games, and the data is not being made public, it is simply reported to the league office. God forbid they do wide spread testing and release it publicly, only to see more variation than what happened in the AFC Championship game last year. Just more evidence that the NFL is not (and has never been) interested in the truth of this story. Oh, and also, watch this 60 Minutes Sports segment on deflategate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Hppu_vaoEU

He does a really good job of highlighting the most important points, even without all of the prolific data and details that back up his conclusions. The sad part is that, for most people, it doesn't matter. They are happy to believe the NFL's lies and ESPN's headlines, with little interest in doing the research that is readily available and exonerates Brady. Here in Denver, it seems like most people still believe what the NFL leaked in the first few weeks, plus the red herring about the cell phone, and have no interest in what actually went on. For a while, I was looking forward to hearing people apologize for getting it so wrong, but it seems like that is never going to happen. It really is a sad example of how facts and logic aren't important to people, they just accept anything that confirms whatever they want to believe. |

Don't worry, Pacman Jones didn't even get kicked out of game for this:

This time he's gone too far!
I don't know if even his vaunted PR machine and impeccable reputation can save him now: Brady is a Trump supporter.

Even today, we have the anticipated reinstatement of the Pat's equipment assistant John Jastremski and officials locker room attendant Jim McNally. http://nesn.com/2015/09/chris-simms-...bradys-guilty/ This alone should be good for a few pages! |

Following the court ruling, is there any chance now that the NFL will reinstate the lost draft pick and pay back the fine? Or is that pending the appeal?
Or has that horse left the barn? |
