28" disc road bikes coming back around?

Not just here, I see folks once they get past the gravel bike and it all dialed, putting good road bikes together again. Nice stuff too!

Seeing 28" disc road bikes [rim brakes], is the disc gravel all road trend softening a little, a lot?
