I'm saying the PICTURE, the diagram is of a older gen, pre 2013 rear der..and 10s..BUT latest gen Centaur and Potenza and also the rear ders from 2011 thru today, will also work. What to look for are the ones where the front plate is outboard of the pivots, not inboard.

Then either keep the two RDs as is, one short one medium, or swap the cages if you prefer the Chorus mech/graphics with the Potenza medium cage. You could even the sell the complete short RD if you no longer needed it.
this is exactly what I end up doing. and getting derailleur from the US so I won't have to wait an eternity.

So I bought a centaur mid cage.

THIS DERAILLEUR WILL NOT WORK for the transplant. They use a difference system of attaching the cage to the derailleur. There is no bolt you can just undo. Oh well, now i have a derailleur I don't want or need but being mid cage I will probably have a use for it in the future.

Are we sure the POTENZA one works?

I've been running a Chorus RD with a Potenza cage for a few years now and will continue to do so. Works fine and an easy switch. Unbolt one, bolt on the other.

Good to know. I might source a potenza but might just buy a chorus mid cage becauce I can sell it then for more money than the potenza. Problem is they seem to be sold out at most places
