Anyone do this last year? Looks like a good 'un.

An investigation into a geologic crime scene of a retreating glacier, this jagged course features 5,000 feet of elevation gain and 19-dirt/gravel/glacial till sectors. This is a fully supported gravel fondo with four timed segments. Entry includes post-ride hot chili bar and beer. Here are the details:

  • The longest un-paved section is 10.6 miles. The shortest un-paved section is 0.3 miles.
  • Riders will encounter just five sectors in the first half of the route. Fourteen sectors await riders after the rest stop.
  • There is no advance notice given on the location or distances of the timed segments
  • Signage will be posted 500 meters before and at the start and finish of each timed segment
  • Riders are scored based on their cumulative time
  • Final timed segment will carry double value (time/2)
