Where do people buy their stainless shift cables in bulk?

Other than Amazon or Ebay, where do you get your shift cables? Just re-cabled all the road bikes and ran out for the Brompton!

The local bike collective. If that didnt exist and I refused to use Amazon or Ebay, I guess I would look for another online distributor or buy them from a local shop that sells em individually.

Good idea! There's a bike collective relatively close by.

If you like Yokozuna cables, Soma Fabrication sometimes has them on sale in bulk. Yokozuna cables are excellent and compatible with OEM cables from Campy and Shimano. If you're not in a hurry, wait for a sale and stock up!

alternatively, one of my local shops, American Cyclery, sells Yokozuna cables individually for like $5 or 6 each. They are sold as individual cables, from the big 100 cable set, and not individually packaged. That works for me!

Good Luck!

Even not on sale, $230 for a box of 100 is great, those are nice cables.

I use the 1.1MM cables, they turn the sharp corners sometimes found on today's internal cabling. They also don't get crudded up easily in poor operating conditions.
