halp pedal trouble - other ideas

Have a set of cranks I want to use on a townie commuter type rig. Actually PJNs On-One Inbred SS

I let this go for too long and now Im regretting it

So the non drive side CB eggbeater is ... very stuck.

Its sat in all sorts of chemicals nearly ruining the already beat pedal. Had large tools attached and my 160lbs of weight plus some on it to loosen to no avail

Im wondering if anyone has successfully fashioned a platform onto these pedals? Some stuff comes up on amazon but it looks like garbage that would work once and never again

I know I could buy a different set, and pull off the clips/pedal and just reuse the axle from the old pedals but they are, old. And that would come at more risk. Finding a platform body that matches these older axles would be dumb. no

your thoughts, fright and insight would be appreciated

cheers!

If there's a hex socket on the backside try an impact wrench. Heating would also be good here assuming aluminum crank and non-aluminum pedal spindle. You could heat the crank with a heat gun then. dunk the pedal in a crushed dry ice/acetone bath then hit it with a hex bit on an impact wrench.
