Chariot Sidecar weight limit - disregard

I see a few threads here on the old Chariot Sidecar. There was mention of a 75 pound weight limit but then I also so a website state 55 pounds. Both are actually lower than I expected.

Does anyone know for sure what the maximum weight is that it can support?

There's one locally I am considering to pick up.

Not anymore. Took a look at it today.

IMO the weight limit is not like a big issue if you look at it in this perspective...

If the just is like 100 pounds he wont be able to get into the charriot already.. so it is more like "kid will fit" than weight. Unless you want the cart for carriying stuff or a large dog, in which case probably weight is something to consider you know.
