Paint in Ti colour?

Thinking bout getting a wound up fork for my cross but the silver crown vs Ti frame is really bugging me. Do you think its possible to paint the crown in similar colour as Ti with a good result? The fork looks like it dont belong on my legend cx.

If fork crown colour was the same as frame it wouldent bather me so much. Think it can be done? anyone ever painted any items to fit their ti bikes?

My origanal litespeedfork has a fade from black carbon to light grey at the crown. guess they tried to get the Ti feel at the crown to match that frame. They failed big time

Check out the Serotta paint program and play around with the silver paints on the fork against naked ti and see what you think.

Matte ...perhaps ... but polished Ti ?????

That is impossible to emulate.

not sure if it's still offered as a standard color but the old "Platinum" color was a very close match for brushed Ti.

Tried machine polishing the frame first with some metal shine product.
Looks alot better now, not the same as fork crown but atleast it dont look completely out of place.

Thanks

why not just match the fork blades, black?
you could paint or anodize.

I actually thought of that i even taped it with black masking tape to c what it would look like. But reasoned it made the fork look too thin. Wound up crown is abit narrow in profile for my taste. But not alot of options out there if u want a carbon fork with disctabs. There are some Ti forks but ive heard so many bad stories with fork shatter so i dident wanna take a chance. Looks okay now tho, atleast for a cx il post some pics when its done.

As already suggested, use the platinum serotta color. My CDA looks ti from a distance.
