haven't had time, so I've been catching the last ~20km after the fact, thanks to the bike racing sub-reddit, that has been posting up high quality vids of the finishes.

I'm not sure if I agree. If you're trying to assess efficacy or acceptance of a solution and you only ask about current products that provide that solution, you'll be blind to the possibility that none of the products meets the needs of the customer well, so most don't use any solution.

If you know that 50 people are interested in watching the TdF and you find that 10 use NBC,20 use pirated, and none choose another option, then you've got 70 who don't use a solution. But if you don't know how many are interested and you only ask about the four solutions, you don't know how many don't like the current solutions offered.
