Larkspur is a hell of a lot better than Folsom. Even our prison is better

Ha ha, I bet - wish I could ask Johnny which one had a better crowd..

I don't need to be in Folsom. That's just where I need to go at least a few times a month. Larkspur is closer to it than Portland, so it'd be a move in the right direction. But we'd have to get lucky with finding a place to live. I'm fine with renting, I just can't deal with old carpet, mold issues, etc. for health reasons. And I haven't seen where there are many new buildings that are sized even somewhat decently for two people who work from home.

But I'll stop clogging up this thread now

It is really fun. There are serval bermed-out hairpin turns. The issue is getting up there. We went from big rock on Lucas Valley road. Thats probably the least painful and longest. The other way I know to get there is riding up from SFD on Whites hill. The problem there is its super steep. Like multiple or sustained 20% grade climbs with no sun cover. Gag me

Marin County

If you move here you will likely need to change your handle to "Wellused34T".

I got this back from the painter very recently, after a couple of shake down rides, it feels just like a long lost pr of fav. jeans.

Just picked up this leftover 2017 Jamis Renegade Elite. This replaced a Surly Crosscheck which is now in the hands of another forumite. For what I'm looking for, it's a near perfect spec and I'm looking forward to taking it to D2R2 this year.

The jig is up, the news is out
They finally found me
The renegade who had it made

Nevermore to go astray
This'll be the end today
Of the wanted man...

Sweet rig. Jamis flies below the radar but never disappoints. Great value.

Nice. Looks like White's Ferry. Did you just come off the C&O, bikepacking?
I usually use that ferry from NOVA to shoot up to Sugar Loaf, or a roundabout loop I do heading into DC and back to NOVA via Poolesville/White's ferry.

Edit: Just clicked your pic link. Good times!
