Check out the time capsule his and hers lemonds I got off craigslist

Got a deal I couldn't refuse, especially since they fit my girlfriend and I (yes she really rides with her bars that low). Had to change the bars and stem, bar tape (not original anyway) on the big one and throw a tire on the back of the small one, change the saddles out (were both not original - thick and foamies), and take off the many reflectors. If they work out well we might consider putting couplers on them! They are both basically brand new

Nice job saving them, giving them good homes and using them how they were meant to be used

Very nice but maybe you should change out all the tires due to their age?

Beautiful bikes! As an aside, be careful not to overtighten that little phillips screw on the TTT Status stem cap. They're very fragile.

Not a bad idea, they're continental grand prix 3000's... lol... they do seem incredibly well preserved but maybe I shouldn't trust them.

Good call, it's just a little screw lightly threaded into a plastic piece that seems like it could fall out if you weren't careful. Pretty pointless design but hey it's light and NOS.
