Did a christmas cross race this morning at 10:00 in south central pa. 24 degrees windy and flurries. Sitting on my tired butt at the computer at 4:00 pm and still no accumulation, just flurries.

snow in central jersey

Maybe 5-6 inches on the ground here and accumulating steadily. The wind also seems to be picking up.

We were really looking forward to seeing Eagles v Vikings in blizzard conditions.

Still zero inches actually on the ground in DC. my wife and I decided to chance it driving back from Philly today. We ran into no trouble at all.

Coming down pretty steadily and the wind is picking up with some really ugly gusts.

Driving is sort of out of the question as conditions are continuing to worsen.

So far only 1' or so but the predictions are snow until tomorrow mid-day.

We'll see......

nyc metro area is looking pretty bad, i would guess 4 - 5" down already, and the intensity is picking up. i ventured out before with the car, and the roads were super slick, probably because the temp was in the upper 20's, so the initial snow froze on contact with the blacktop. driving now would be very hazardous i would imagine.

i plan to open a bottle of red and catch up on a few movies!

and its still coming down. It looks like predictions of 15-20 inches were not excessive.

~6" here in raleigh nc.
rode my 29r SS rigid to the grocery store, then later to "locked and loaded" (biker restaurant) for lunch. A 3 mile ride there but it ended up feeling like a workout by the time I returned.
