Points well spent. AKA check your stuff!

First and foremost check your attitude!

I have done quite a bit of urban riding in the past but not much the last year or so. Went out tonight on my FS MTB feeling like "I was all that and a bag of chips". Made a stupid decision to make a short side left at a T intersection. Thanks to a very attentive driver, it was not even close but could have been a complete disaster. Be safe and make good decision.

Second: Check your wheels. After I decided to tone it down and little (see above experience), I went back the the house and put my 16 y/o nephew on my boys MTB. We went out on an amazing 15 mile ride that include trails, fields, sidewalks, MUTS and roads. When I pulled into my yard and got off the bike the rear wheel feel COMPLETELY off! ***!

I burned 2 major Karma points on one ride.
