Cyclart: A Day at the Beach
Stopped by the LBS and they had this hanging up, waiting on parts for a rebuild. Just back from Cyclart. I think they've outdone themselves this time.
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. In case it's not clear, the theme goes from the bottom up; from the ocean floor to the beach. Just too cool. IMG_7540.JPG IMG_7538.JPG IMG_7537.JPG IMG_7536.JPG IMG_7535.JPG IMG_7539.JPG IMG_7541.JPG IMG_7542.JPG |

Awesome.
I have to ask, Trek? Different strokes I guess. |

Many times more than the frame, nice job though

I like the fades.
That lady (?) in the head tube/down tube/top tube junction area looks like she is fighting off an invisible assailant. |

Very nice, but I think it looks 'confused' from a distance (or at 30 mph!...).

Something tells me this bike won't be going 30mph very often.

Trek OCLV. Evidently the job took a number of years to complete. The frame was fairly cutting edge at the time.

Always-fun build discussion: The owner is going to build up w Ultegra 6800. Me, I think a silver Campy group would look good on this color scheme. With tan-walled tires on silver rims, silver seatpost and stem, and topped off w natural Brooks Cambium saddle and tape.

Wow...I wonder how long it took to paint it. I guess it might be hard to touch up any scratches
