Then again, I'm more of an alloy guy myself.

Saw those the other day, I think I'm about done with Campagnolo. I see more fred (sram/shimano mix) in my future...

sspielman, as I stated on that very same WW page last week, I seriously doubt that Campa would have two very different shapes on the market simultaneously. I imagine that eRecord and standard Record will be shaped as similar as possible.

I would agree that the two versions would be similar in shape/size.
Could the Electric group put a substantial nail in campags coffin ?

Personally, I'm losing all interest in the new carbon wonder gruppo thing. If Campy had an ear to the ground, they'ld notice that the all alloy stuff is quickly becoming collectible and pricey. That says to me that the aesthetic is shifting backward and that it's time for a new all alloy Record/Chorus option - in silver.

Were I going towards the new, next gen stuff, I'd definitely be waiting to see the new D/A crank shape, or just 'making the leapmo' to the Red group, which has those lovely brakes (though the Record Skeletons are beautiful, I don't like black aluminum).
