Anyone know a source for a Carnac shoe ladder strap
Hey folks,
I'm running old Carnac M5 shoes which are the most comfortable for me. The only thing I don't like about these shoes are the ladder straps are just a touch short. So it's a little fiddly to get them engaged and I only have 1 or 2 teeth engaged from the end which doesn't leave room for hot sweaty expanding feet or thick socks. I'd love the strap to be 10 mm longer. Anyone have a lead on something that will fit? I see Sidi straps for sale everywhere but no one lists specs so I can't tell the width and length. I'm more or less looking for a strap whose ladder section is ~15 mm wide and at least 95 mm long. Thanks! |

That's good to know! Can anyone tell me if the Sidi replacement straps are any longer?

Amazon has them.
I searched Sidi replacement straps. Many places had them |

The width on my Sidi Ergo 2 straps is the same as your measurement. Only 7.5 cm long but my shoes have an adjustable strap on the opposite side of the tongue.
I replaced the buckles on mine a year or so ago, why they look so nice and bright. |

Giro also used these straps, measured all my Sidi and Giro straps, Sidi's 85mm, Giro's 95mm.

Thanks for taking those measurements! It proves the Sidi straps probably won't improve my situation. I also don't have the adjustability on the other end. Thanks again!

I appreciate the offer but it looks like it won't help. Thanks though!
