Waiting for

Moots fork
SS king cages
Socks
Ti king base plate. I know it's a weird thing to buy in ti, but it goes with the ti headset.

I just sprayed it. Masked everything with frog tape and newspaper and then let it rip for 5-6 coats. A few spots could use another pass but overall I'm pretty happy with what $50 worth of supplies can do!

Would you mind sharing how much Cyclo Retro charged for the group?

BTW, really surprised that nobody came up with a similar service in the US.
There is definitely a market and shipping stuff back and forth to Australia isn't what I'd consider a straight forward process....

Campagnolo Eurus wheelset

Ribble had a weekend sale going and I needed another set of wheels as a second set. Running Tubular on my F8, but like to ride clincher when doing Gran fondos and Charity rides.
Cost with shipping was $630 CDN.

The components are going on a frame I built myself, specifically to ride at L'eroica in October.

There is a build thread here:

Just picked up a new Selle SMP Dynamic from my LBS. This is a new color for SMP which, as I understand it, is only being offered in North America. That's why you won't see it on the SMP website or in any of their catalogs.

After taking 3 weeks, I finally came across the perfect pair of socks to pair with my new Custom Bonts! Straight from Australia (Cost me as much to ship them as it did to buy them!!!)

Velo One socks. They are surprisingly very nice quality. Wasn't expecting such a nicely made sock from a brand that I had never heard of before. Perfect match and feel great too.

Wow! That will look great with your Kirk I'm guessing - would be perfect with any silver builds (Ti or painted) - or white for that matter - okay, it'd look great with a lot of different color schemes

What are you putting it on first?

Picked up some current-model Vision Metron 40 Tubs today with ceramic bearings and Tufos - only have some moderate test miles on them and look great. Very subdued graphics and they come off if I want them to. Got a great deal locally from a fellow OBRA member. Looking forward to trying them out after vacation (and after I get some carbon pads...). These will be the first Tubs I actually put miles on. IMAKing convinced me I should give it a go with a bit of tubeless sealant thrown in and I couldn't think of a good reason not to.
