Need to install new 1/4" grommets in a TT bag

I've been gifted a very nice bolt-on TT bag and I find that the two grommets are not in the right location. Seems pretty simple to poke a couple of new holes, melt the edges so they don't fray, and install grommets. Is something like this cheapo kit from Amazon sufficient? Or are grommets something any hardware store stocks and I should just go get a pair and they can be installed with a hammer or similar?

Thanks!

I buy my sewing supplies and notions from Seattle Fabrics. They can answer your questions and point you in the right direction.

Hardware store kit and a hammer. The only trick to grommets is that they create a concentrated stress so you want to put them in a reinforced area if possible.
