the start of woody's seventh season

i finally got out for a proper pre-spring ride on the ottrott.
i always thought it would be nice to shod the goat
with nimble fly tubulars...and glad i found a pair
on the cheap. the rear wheel hadn't seen glue with zero miles
and the front looked like a minimalist approach was used
apparently had exactly 112 miles.
i started out thinking 20 and probably had 50 plus
by the time i got home again to cook up some dinner...
if you like the colors of the sign
stay tuned...
...there's something coming that i'll post in the custom bikes section...
any guesses??
c'mon man
guess!

ding, ding, ding

we have a winner...
...and i get a llewellyn
even before ginger does!
she's riding her terraplane on ride to work day
in australia while i'm buying the yellow fixie
dazza made for himself but never got around to riding...
...stuck on the old, ramshackled red one he has posted on his site!
most fun i've had in awhile...
...almost seems like he actually made it for me
considering it from november until now!
if you have a copy of the custom bikes book
turn now to page 137!
...ah
i hear the collective pages turning!
strong work

since it's spring and a tubular tool roll seemed like a good idea

i thought i would post a stealth update
just to see if anyone is paying attention
has tried them
or thinks it's a great idea...

i also installed the new mavic cassette and chain
i bonked over the winter.
...there's a little chain rub on both sides of the extremes
in gearing
and wondering if anyone has similar experience
running this system with the sram red??

the other conflict i'm currently having
is a fight between bikes...
this bike has deda road bars.
the llewellyn project has bars just in...deda pista bars.
i also have a new post...a deda zero100
that would look good on woody
but was intended for the new bike build...
maybe it'll be easier to decide
once the llewellyn project is out of the box

Ottrott update

I received woody back from a friend who had needed a bike
And have enjoyed the new brooks bar tape
old brooks swallow saddle and SRAM red set up.
The original red King headset is now a nice pink...
The Tenkara rod is also a great way to catch fish at
Each mile marker along the canyon ride!
Not a bad looking bike after having taken me 70k down the road!
—Still sporting the owners club warranty!
