lol. Dude I live in Florida we don't even touch the small ring on the group rides here. A 39t makes no sense at all.
The 42t actually works quite well for the bridges and overpasses here.
I asked Steve to make sure he left room for a larger inner ring and he accommodated.

I did my time in Jacksonville for about 18 months. Know all too well those bridge repeats as "hill intervals."

The color really sets it off.

This has me so thinking of picking up the phone and calling Steve. I'd go a very different route from you, as I'm on the all-day comfort/classics-type performance side of things. Really enjoying my ti Gran Paradiso so much this summer and thinking about his Il Mostro line.... So tempted to try steel, maybe in Max...

But this thread is about your bike. Just wow; love the story of a great collaboration with da man!
