steel is real.... USA steel that is. I think the only carbon on this bike is the seat rails and pedals

Yeah this is pretty much a perfect build. Great looking bike.

I’m curious what your impressions of those pedals are.

And I agree with above. The mountain lion probably just wanted to get a better look at the bike

It is pre-geo. We talked about where he was headed and decided not to do it for several reasons. One was I wanted to keep the cost down. Going with the 157mm standard can get pretty pricey since there are only a few hubs offered as well as BB. I think the headtube angle is 69 degrees and I am using a 60mm stem.

I put a lot of trust into Kris doing what he felt best for me and he delivered in spades. I think it is great that he experiments with his bikes because it really helps him understand what the client wants and needs.

Pedals are personal. I have used Time Atacs 12's for years. They are super lightweight, engage well, and clear mud incredibly well.
