I noticed that Wooly's now sold DiD in the classifieds also had the smaller holes. Interesting.

Here is what I remember hearing from Girogio at Gita about the Day is Done:

Mine was in the first batch of 3 bikes built in 2011. All stays and dropouts where hand fabricated by Dario. These bikes were displayed at various bike shows.

It took Dario next 3-4 years to source dropouts and stays from various suppliers. The next batch of DiDs came out in 2015 which were primarily to fulfill orders on the wait list. All subsequent DiDs have the smaller holes and the cutout in the dropout you see above.
