Various States (of Being)
Neat to read, especially since recently I looked at my bikes not so much by country of origin (for the frame), but by state. I like US bikes, not so much because made here but the designs suit my taste.
They include, by state: * Serotta Atlanta = New York * Ibis Spanky & Ibis Sonoma Ti = California * Rivendell Road (1st gen., Waterford) = Wisconsin * Burley Fox Hollow = Oregon * Seven Odonata = Massachusetts * Gunnar Cross Hairs & Gunnar Street Dog = Wisconsin Five states...not bad...that's like figuring out how many nations contributed parts to one of my built-up-at-home bikes. Dave, who also has some made in Japan Bridgestone frames |
