i have a zanc road bike, and if you like the ride of aluminum, paul at RL is a good choice and well within your budget. seems to me that custom right now is in demand and i think you will have a hard time finding many builders to deliver in 6 months or less, but there may be some out there.

If you keep adding bikes, Angry, you’ll need a bigger car to lean them against.

Other than slightly heavier, personally I thought titanium was the perfect application for gravel.
Any reason why Ti gravel was not your first choice?
The Seven is a Evergreen, the Zank and Caad 10 are aluminum road frame that ride well, just wondering how alum would be on gravel.

I see, good on you, nice selection of bikes, in that case go for it, you won't know until you give it a try. It's in the lower category but I understand that the Salsa journey man is alum.

I have a Zanconato aluminum Road 35 or whatever they were called on his site. It’s basically a gravel bike. The aluminum construction is largely irrelevant as all damping is done in the tires run in the low to mid 30s PSI. I run 42 mm Schwalbe tires I think. It’s a fine machine and I wouldn’t make any changes to the material.

When I’m riding it it’s just a bike that handles very well. I make no thoughts about the material.

My gravel bike is an aluminum CAADX, it rides just fine on gravel.
Doesn't do so well when getting sandwiched up against a galvanized steel guard rail in a crash, but A) that's not its intended purpose, and B) there aren't many guard rails if you're riding off road, so...

I was looking at the Low Bicycles gravel lines. The LK model seems like a pretty affordable route if the geometry and specs are up to your liking.
