Hah, I was just gonna say - Marinoni has the best selection and support for Campy in North America, and has had for the last 20 years to my knowledge. They also got Ekar before anyone.

Don't know what to tell ya. I get lotsa ERGO bits from Campagnolo, NA as well as other sources(just bought 8 RH shift springs and 4 LH)..AND except for thumb buttons and shift lever blades(which are available as a small part), I buy 11s assemblies and cannibalize them for innards.

Were the Centaur UltraShift or Powershift? PS, one higher gear at a time via thumb button.

The short cage 10sp Record rear mechs were being blown out by someone on eBay for 199 each, of course you have to pay the tax on that. If there is a medium-long cage (?), those apparently cost more.

I only have Campy 8sp, so can't really speak to the 10sp stuff.

Thanks. Heard such terrible things about Power-torque BBs and cranks. Will hold out for square taper as long as can (if I ever find one)...

Looks like Dana_e a few posts up might be able to help you out....

Also, just sayin'- the square taper Record CT cranks are really good looking. They are different than the Chorus CT (also good looking), with a wider carbon spider. Campy only made them for a year or two before UT/PT cranks came out.

Amazing! Would you want to part with the crankset (if it is 170mm crank length) and the front derailleur (if braze-on)? I don't require the RD or BB. Send me a private message or email mjhaydo@hotmail.com and we can chat prices and pictures. Very interested if you would like to part with them. Shipping would be to Canada. Thanks!

I’d certainly pay $381 for that... before shipping charges and taxes.
Those can be had brand new from totalcycling.com for $250CDN. I have a 2005 Record (polished aluminum) crank set with a BB that I've been trying to sell on Kijiji and so far no takers. The thing was only used for about two years, and is in excellent condition. I posted that I want $150CDN for it and some low baller asked me if I'd take $100!! The nerve!

The nerve is right.

But in the era of compact and subcompact cranks, those lovely 2005 Record 53/39 cranksets just haven’t held their value like some of the other 10 spd components.
