Hi David,
Are you making seperate forks alone available for purchase? Particularly the unicrown versions you have shown in the past? Thanks |

In any case - I do not offer unicrown forks (unicrown blades are a very bad design IMHO) but I happy offer traditional lugged crown forks. If you need more info please let me know. dave |

So....I love the way the light fixtures show up in the reflections on the painted fillets. It acts like a funhouse mirror and sometime looks cool and is other times super distracting and I need to work around it.
The way it shows on these I like. dave |

Is that a Joe Bell paint job?

Oh sweet jesus I think I besmirched myself...
A fillet-brazed Kirk with Terraplane seatstays, braze-ons for full fenders, and an understated-yet-killer paint scheme?!?! Somebody's been reading my Wish List! |

Thought so. Lots of light reflecting off of a very cool color.

Blogs?…remember them? I do mostly because I’ve felt guilty for way too long about not updating mine. But…low and behold…I have posted a new blog entry on my website! I can tell you're impressed.
This post deals with how a top of the line race bike I built in 1990 compares with my current offerings. It’s a Reynolds 753 vs 953 comparison if you will. I write some about how it came to be that I have what is effectively a new-old-stock custom Reynolds 753 bike I built for myself in 1990 and what it feels like to ride compared to my current bike which is a lugged Onesto built with Reynolds 953 XL tubing. So if you have a little time to burn please head to my site and scroll to the bottom where you will find the “news” and click on "read more". www.kirkframeworks.com dave |

I enjoyed that. One thing that has surprised me as I get to know my new Kirk is that on a familiar ride, I am just plain riding faster. Much of what you had to say about the qualities of the frame ring true as well. The Kirk isn’t as light as the other bikes in the stable (though not by much) , but it just covers the ground with a certain zing.
Thanks again for the write up. |
