Speaking of Shimano chains -
Has anybody seen any Shimano 11s 901 xtr/DA chains stocked lately? I keep seeing the main mailorder houses push back thier dates of arrival. Just wondering if there are chains coming in and selling out or none.

I was at a local shop on Monday while my wife got her booster. This same chain had a $79.00 price sticker on it. Just sayin....

The price of 11S chains seems really high. Even the knockoff brands on Amazon too. I may have to switch to hot waxing my chains to get more life out of them.

Speaking of Shimano chains -
Why is it that Shimano says their 10S mountain bike chain isn't compatible with road bike groups and vice versa? For example https://www.biketiresdirect.com/prod...eed-road-chain

shimano doesn't say that, BTD does..it works fine on all 10s systems..road, MTB, etc.

Well, there seemed to be about 3-4 pages of local shops listed, some of which will ship -- no idea if any of these shops are local to you.
