Never mind: Obscure Di2 battery check question

My Creo came with Ultegra Di2 drivetrain and bar end junction box. I could check battery level by pressing on any shifter for 2 seconds and the light would indicate level.

But now I have upright bars, XT Di2 shifters and out-front stem mounted junction box. Pressing XT shifter levers does not seem to show any lights.

Any ideas?

Did you try pressing up and down shift buttons same time?

works same same as bar end junction box.
