You get about one chance to tweak that back but it's never going to be perfect as far as the brake track. The rebuild would not bring me a lot of joy, but its doable. Good luck with that
Nothing goes better with spring like a set of new wheels |

I heard eBay or Morningstar's daughter posted in another thread that she has a whole lot of them. |

I'd certainly try this..As long as the rim isn't bent inward toward hub but just sidewall. I've 'massaged' more than a few back to pretty dern close..

Are these the C15 or C17s? I have a front wheel with less of an issue than this that’s useable but I don’t ride a ton b/c braking is compromised. My set are the older C15s. It strikes me that together we’d have a nice set of wheels. I’m open to letting my rear wheel go for not a ton of $$$. Ping me if interested.

Ouch! if it was the front wheel you can swap out the rim with Zonda's rim since both use the same front rim with the same part number. However even tho Shamal's rear rim part number is different from Zonda's, I highly suspect that the Shamal rear rim is just a slightly thinner walled rim compare to Zonda's, so You might be able to use Zonda's rear rim on Shamal since the measurement is exactly the same. Ask Campagnolo if Shamal's spoke nipples fits in Zonda's rim, if it does then you can.

That rim is now garbage. Sell me the wheels cheap.
Honestly you can probably fix it easily - I have dented rims like that before and they fix up nicely. Kinda like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6qXt0lsdUw |

I have replaced a rim on a Eurus rear wheel before.
It wasn't a pleasant experience. I actually have an older (~'12-'13) Eurus rear wheel laying around with a broken spoke. It's yours if you want it. |

That looks like a nice tool. I like that it has a rotor truing tool on the other end as well. |

Re OP question - I don’t have experience with Shamal rear rebuild but I rebuilt a Neutron rear due to dent (moved it back as much as possible and rim probably would have lasted a while longer but resulting brake pulse was irritating). The challenge I had was getting information on spoke tension requirements for rebuild of rear. This may be more readily available for shamal. |

Become a spoke-plucker and listen for the sound the plucked spoke makes. If you can borrow an identical wheel, then you're golden. If not, on the drive-side, a little tighter than the front. NDS, a little looser than the front.

If you lived around here....there is a lady wheel builder who could fix it. She builds bicycle wheels, racing wheel chair wheels, relaces old motorcycle wheels, and completely builds hi wheeler wheels...spokes, rims, and hard rubber tires. You might still feel the spot slightly with rim brakes....none with disk.

bad time of year for road quality .consider yourself lucky you didn't get hurt. i'd replace it. if funds are an issue consider something less expensive would be my suggestion.
