With that much room between the rails and the saddle, you might be able to reverse mount a Silca Premio (or whatever the latest version is) up in there. Especially with just a tube.

Or even more minimal just use small canvas drawstring bag with a toe strap or something like this:

Wasn't someone on here making pouches from Thompson stem bags?

I'm a fan of the Sci-Con bags with the quick release. Swap between bikes, or remove easily to repack. (The only problem I have is guessing how big of one I need to buy...)

What I have learned from this thread is that there seems to have been some significant saddle bag inflation.

it needs to hold only a single 650B tube and cinch up nice and tight, preferably between the saddle rails.

ideas?
I really like the Arundel Dual bags. https://www.arundelbike.com/product-category/bags/

They are secure and I can carry a tube, levers, a couple of CO2 cartridges, a multi-tool, and a tire boot with ease. I started carrying a Tubolito tube as a spare to free up room and carry a Dynaplug Pill on my gravel bike too.

+1 ILE. I have a slightly different version. Works great.

After my Arundel Dual fell apart I have been using a Speedsleev Ranger. It fits the stuff I need (tube, inflator, Co2, tire levers and patch kit), keeps it clean and holds tight to the saddle rails with no rattling.

Speedsleev Ranger 100%. For real- very light, very sturdy, very low profile.

I concur. I think folks are running out of things to spend money on.

Oh no. Keep inflation in its own thread. Let's keep this thread restricted to a topic with which most of us have some actual experience and knowledge.
