recommend a better minimal saddle bag

I carry all of my tools in a small pouch in my pocket, and generally a 700c tube, but on my 650B bike it's more convenient to just carry the tube in a small saddle bag.

i love these lezyne bags for modern saddles, but it just does not sit right on my leather saddle and is "droopy".

it needs to hold only a single 650B tube and cinch up nice and tight, preferably between the saddle rails.

ideas?

If it’s big enough which it looks to be judging from the size of your other bag try this one. It’s my favorite saddle when I used one. It may look simple but everything about it is well thought out and of quality. The owners are super nice people too.

If thats all you need maybe you can just strap it between the rails or behind the seat post/tube?

this bike sees a lot of dirt etc, i never like leaving the tube exposed without at least something keeping the grit and dirt off of it.

I like the Castelli mini saddle bag. It’s pretty compact and fits up under my saddle rails and it seems pretty reasonably priced

love the strap and you can open it, get stuff out and close it without taking it off the saddle. Also its cheap and looks good. I have the sb25 and fits everything no problem.

I'm also a big fan of the Lezyne bags. Another good option is and Arundel. I think you'd be able to squeeze a 650b tube in the uno. They secure nicely and the leather patch helps prevent wear.

Arundel medio definitely has room for 650b tube and a little more. Very durable so far.

My new favorite is skin grows back. Slick magnetic clip and nice colors, very well made.

Pretty sure I have the plan b. I’ve a 650b tube, a plug kit, tire lever and a one up tool stashed in it with no room to spare.

My local shop has a ton of them usually for sale if you need a lead.

I switched to the Speedsleev last year and have no complaints. Good pricing and fits all the essentials. I run the Ranger S on my road bike and the regular Ranger on my gravel bike.

Another vote for the Speed Sleeve Ranger S. I've been using one for a year now.

Maybe a little bigger than “minimal” but I like the look of this Berthoud bag with leather saddles.
Just need to find the brown version of my Brooks

I like the Arundel Uno for pretty much everything , but I seem to wear them out. They are inexpensive enough though.

I think I may have one with a small hole in it I can throw in an envelope to see if it’ll work for you before buying a new one. PM if you’re interested.
