I hope they have Jens Voigt doing some boots on the ground commentary again this year. He's always entertaining!

So you have to VPN as if you're in another continent right? Was just about to sign up for GCN until I noticed they're not streaming to the US. I can't stand listening to Bob/Phil.....is there a free VPN app or do you have to pay by the bandwidth?

I also use a VPN.
I pay for Surfshark, if you use the code DOWESETT (yeah Alex Dowsett) you get some huge discount, I think it comes to $35 for 2 years or something like that.

I also have Peacock so I might watch a bit on there.

. . . (in case you didn't already know!) because while I do have a "smart" TV, I've never had cable or any streaming services. I just have rabbit ears hooked up to the TV and over-air-digital is enough for me. This year I have most of July off, so actually have time to watch for once!

Seemed like GCN+ is a pretty good deal to watch everything all the time, but they don't stream to US? So what is best way to do this so I can watch on my TV, not sitting in front of my home office computer? I sign up online for whatever service, then have password to hook up via the smart TV?

Sorry to be so out of date . . .

This has been covered before, but there are lots of ways to get streaming video onto a large screen TV, including streaming set-top boxes (such as Roku or Fire TV), screen casting from a smartphone or PC (to a smart tv, set top box, or streaming dongle like Chromecast), or simply attaching an HDMI cable from a PC to the TV. The best solution is going to depend on the streaming service, the TV, and whatever hardware is used to connect to the network for streaming.

Does Peacock have a condensed version of the stages after the fact? I really liked GCN+'s extended highlights of the Giro.

@bummbledave

If you aren't all techy your best bet would be to pony up for Peacock for the month of July, I think it's only $6 and will get you full coverage of the Tour

If you're a Comcast/Xfinity internet customer, Peacock Premium is already included for "free"...

I watched the NBC Sports extended highlights on YouTube last year.

They were VERY extended, like sometimes almost an hour.

Thanks, that's what I am looking for. Any idea if they will be doing this again?

You have to subscribe to the LIVE TV feature of HULU at an additional cost.

I'm not sure. I assume so though, since they paid for the media rights. They've been expanding on other sports for sure. I'll post a video if I see any pop up in the early stages so you'll know where to look.
