Really close. Just hop on Hwy 68 towards Salinas and you can access the trail system from the Laguna Seca racetrack.

Ah, I know where that is. We pass it on the way into PG. I didn't know it was that beautiful on the inside. Will definitely check it out next time we're up.

Thanks!

Nice bikes in this thread

I'll throw mine in here as well. I picked it up from ahumblecycler about a year ago and a half ago. Such a sweet bike and I tend to put most of miles on it.

2000 Litespeed Ultimate

Just keep putting newer stuff on this frame. Made the mistake of justifying the original purchase to the wife as "it's Ti, it'll last forever". She brings that up every time I start looking at something else.

Does not look like a mistake to me at all! Litespeeds have such elegant lines, sweet ride!

As of Tuesday, I no longer had any Ti bikes left in the fleet. Found a guy on local CL that was getting rid of a Campy 10 spd Record Titanium group in VGC along with some Speed Dream wheels. It just so happened he was looking for a Ti frameset and my Merlin 6/4 TR fit him, so we swapped with no cash. I had wanted to offload the Merlin because it was too small and the handling was a bit too twitchy.

Then Wednesday came along:

A Colnago Oval Master? In my size? With the same handling as my Master X-Light? In mint condition? Money burning in my pocket from the settlement check I received yesterday? Yes to all of the above...not that I care, but it's 6/4 ti as well and came along the next day after I got rid of my other 6/4 ti bike...the cycling gods (or devils) are trying to tell me something.

Now waiting for a box to arrive from Belgium. Now the tough part...Throw the Campagnolo Record Ti group on there or move the 7700 over from my Merckx MXL since this thing will come with a 7700 BB and HS already?

Tai
