This is Bella, our pound puppy we’ve had about 10 years. Pic from our summer beach trip. She loves the beach. First time we went, she ran top speed chasing birds, back and forth, back and forth. Arthritis has caught up to her so now she just likes short walks and standing in the waves.

Also this is Kobe. Until recently he was my son’s foster dog in LA. After about 5 months, with a new no dogs allowed apartment and upcoming busy school and work schedule, my son recognized that he wouldn’t be able to give Kobe the attention he needed, so he’s with a new foster home in Orange County. He’s a sweetie if anyone is looking for a new dog in LA.

Love this thread. One of the few threads that’s fully “lock-proof.”

At risk of incurring the wrath of the dog owners here, I swear this is the most dog-like cat ever. Loves being around people, comes to visit and sit with you when you’re doing tasks. Intercepts visitors in the yard and sniffs them. She’s pretty hilarious (for a cat). If I bought a leash I’m pretty sure she’d go for a walk around the neighborhood. Pic is from tonight as I get a new bike assembled and she makes use of the qr to get a good rub.

Iggy Pup (goofball) and Ms. Molly (side-eye). This picture captures personalities very well! Both young chihuahua mixes (terrier and dachshund, respectively), both rescues.

This is Gizmo.

Formerly resident at Battersea's famous Dogs Home. She's a Staffy / Whippet cross - just the thing for terrorising tourists in Greenwich Park.

We have a 12 yr old lab-chow mix and while I’ve never thought of her as catlike, she’s very similar. Devoted to me and my wife and pretty much ignores everyone else.
