Bernal terribly injured in a crash in Colombia.

It's bad. Fractured femur and patella, plus "cervical and thoracic trauma, closed chest trauma." He's in surgery.

One look at the back of the bus and you know it was bad.

This could be a Froome-like accident.

Absolutely brutal way to cap off a tough couple of years for Egan - hoping that his youth helps him recover quickly and completely.

Bernal's bike is on the ground underneath him, in pieces, not the one that is being held by a teammate. It's hard to tell, but it looks like the forearm rests from a set of aero bars are between his legs in one of the pics. Doesn't appear to be any paint on his bike either which would be consistent with the other TT bike in the frame.
