Speedvagen shipping question

I am trying to buy some boots and a skateboard deck from the Speedvagen shop. Total is $149 but the shipping cost is $75! Anyone else experience this from them? Considering I can ship a bike for that it is a little hard to take.

Did you go all the way through check-out? I put both things in a cart and it defaulted to $75 and it had no idea where I live. I'd suggest it might not actually be $75

I'd call or try to go through check-out if you didn't

I didn’t go all the way through check out because I don’t want to pay $75, I’ll call Monday and see if it’s just a placeholder.

Edit: I went as far as I could without paying and it indeed does claim $75 shipping

Sounds awfully high for your purchase but I've only once seen better shipping than the Workshop's for a frameset.

Their shipping is whacked. Has stopped me from things in the past

Evidently they've never heard of USPS flat rate boxes

Could $75 be the default cost to ship a frame, which is mistakenly being applied to everything on the site?
