roof box / rack step
Just saw this....looks like a cool idea. I use a roof box on my SUV and this might be handy.
Moki Door Step It's a little pricey, but there seems to be a bunch of knock-offs for much less.

very clever, I like it
your link is bad, btw. the only thing is the leverage into the painted metal post may put a dent there. If so, it could misalign the striker. Pulling on the bolts, rather than an vertical force, also isn't ideal. However, all theoretical and unless you are at that 300lb weight limit, shouldn't matter. |

I bought something just like that off Facebook for about ten bucks this summer, but, I keep on forgetting I have it! What I really want is a car with a lower roof. The small SUVs are being bloated up model year by model year for no good reason than just to make these things bigger. I used to be able to reach into my roof box without aid. No more.
