I can't see such a system having any long-term durability...the torque of one standing climb would warp those drive teeth something fierce.

I was thinking the samething, maybe using a gear like mechanism instead of those teeth? Is a concept idea that obviously needs to improve.

People worry about getting sliced by a brake disc?!?!?! That "grater cassette" would do some real damage to your body parts in a pile up. OUCH!

Oh that just looks painful thinking about it. It does look like some kind of attachment for my wife's Kitchen aid. Ahh ya I'll just stay with 10 speed campy chain and cassette.
