Campy tech question

Anyone know if a 12 speed crank will play well with an 11 speed gruppo?

Will the front shift well?

Do I then run an 11 speed or 12 speed chain, or will either work as the chain width is only critical for the rear cassette?

Will I need a different bottom bracket?

Match the chain 'speed' to the cogset, not the crank.

No..same bearings, same cups as the '11s' cranks.

Never tried with campy but...

I had a shimano 8 speed and put a 9 speed crank on.
the 8 speed chain marked up the inside or the black large ring.

But this was 8 and 9 not 11 and 12.

Food for thought?
