Mosaic RT - max tire size
Per their website 28 is the official max. Has anyone successfully put anything bigger on one?
Thanks.

720.381.0475 info@mosaiccycles.com BTW-'28mm', even that varies with the lack of bike tire standardization plus the variety of rims that you can use.

Mosaic will custom build with the tire clearance requested.
I personally own a Ti Mosaic with 35mm tire clearance and road geometry. |

I have a Mosaic RT-1 with rim brakes. I can fit a 28 measured in the frame, but not sure how willing I'd be to go wider. I'll see if I can take some photos later.

My old rt-1 rim (built in 2018) cleared a 28mm that measured closed to 30mm front and rear. Corsa controls on pacenti rims

I got around to taking some measurements today.
I'm currently running 25mm Corsa Controls that measure out to 27.7mm. I can fit a 4mm hex key through the Enve Road 2.0 fork on all sides, although it gets pretty tight in some spots (have to push it through). In the rear end, I can almost get a 4mm hex wrench through all sides. The only spot that is slightly problematic are the chainstays, where I can get the 4mm hex key through if I compress the tire a bit. I would estimate 3.5mm of room is about right. Everywhere else is fine. Guessing a measured 28mm is fine. Not sure I'd go above that. Hope this helps! Last edited by tepextate; 02-27-2021 at 09:14 AM. |

"We've been successfully building RT-1's for 32mm tire clearance for a little while now! It's quite dependant on the specific rim/tire combination but 30's are definitely a safe bet!"
