The Poggio

Hello Everyone

Bespoke bicycles have always held a very special place in our hearts. I believe The Poggio offers something truly unique in the bicycle space right now. Clean lines, modern performance - custom frames, made in Italy, painted in the US. A reasonable timeline that currently sits at about 12-16 weeks. We currently work with Dedacciai scandium, and carbon fiber.

The PR21 is our scandium, and most popular model, Custom geometry, custom one color paint, made in Italy. For $3099 USD (plus shipping)

The PR21 is a no-nonsense tool. Built for weeknight crits, and weekend centuries, the PR21 begs to be ridden, raced, and complimented. Custom bikes have always held a special place in our hearts as a way for true enthusiasts to stand out, and dial in their preferences. The PR21 brings this custom experience to a reasonable price point.

I will be using this part of the forum to list some specials we have, as well as some used bikes/framesets

Thanks so much everyone

Testing the Waters:

The death of the rim brake has be quicker than I ever anticipated. At the start of Covid I purchased a good stock of rim brake forks because I believed my vendor would stop producing them. Now 3 years later I still have a good stock. While Instagram, YouTube Comment sections, and Forums would make one believe the rim brake is alive and well, our sales of rim brake bikes have flatlined. Even those I considered pure enthusiasts seem to have no interest.

To clear the stock I had the idea to do a 'the final run'. Direct mount rim braked scandium frames, made in italy, stock geometry, one color, external cable routing (electronic compatible as well). Shipped to you for $2,899

To my knowledge, the other aluminum frame producers seemed to have gone a bit quiet (besides paul at lobster). These frames are truly works of art, and in my opinion, nothing comes close to their quality. We just visited our manufacturing partner in Italy, a spectacular place - full of true artisans with more experience with scandium than anyone in the world.

16 - 20 week turn (on the long end). I will only do this final batch if there is interest from more than a couple people, tell your retro grouch friends.

Thanks everyone!
