Where do you buy your bar tape?

I remember when decent handlebar tape was a consistent $10 a box. Now if you want griptile mega sticky tech tape, you can drop $60 or more.

Black Cinelli cork equivalent - what are you buying and from where?

1) Google: "Cinelli Cork"

2) Click on cheapest link from reputable reseller

3) Buy.

Easy.

What would really be great is a huge roll, where you can just cut off what you need. Like 25 meters of tape. Or more!

Performance has 275 products under "handlebar tape" starting at $6.99.

Bar tape lasts so long now I am way less concerned about a roll costing more.

Hit the button to the 2nd of the left top banner and it will send you to biketiresdirect.com

They have your tape on sale. Better to support the forum imo.

Zipp Service Course CX. I got mine for around $20 and had 4k road miles on them. Still look and feel brand new. I picked up a few more when I saw the price went down to like $18 for a few days.

All 3 of my dropbar bikes have this tape now and a few more sitting in the part bin for backup.

OP seems to be looking for cheap tape but I will offer the counterpoint:

There are just a few contact points between me and my bike, and I am going to make them count.

As such, I feel that bar tape is a worthy splurge item. I swear by Silca Nastro Cusino tape, which is thick and luxurious and lovely.

My 2 cents, your mileage may vary.

Tangentially, since discovering tapes with silicone backing (as opposed to those that bond/glue themselves to your bars) I refuse to use any product without it.

Pro bar tape calls it "smart silicone".

Not only is it easier to wrap and rewrap first time, it leaves your bars in tact when you eventually remove and replace.

I just put some on my bike for the first time. It seems nice. I'll be interested in how it holds up
