Due to a slide Angeles Crest Highway has been closed just above the road to Mt. Wilson for quite a few months, but they opened it last week. That greatly reduced traffic on Upper Big Tujunga, which had been the detour route.
Santa Ana conditions make it nice and clear, except for the haze from the fires.

One of the last perfect fall weekends in the Oregon coastal range. Endless logging and BLM roads. Finest kind.

Well spotted: that is Round Lake. I didn’t see another soul but did see some interesting critter tracks.

Climb up to Skyline Drive in central Virginia that involved paved roads, dirt roads, and double track through the woods. Worth it.

We had a dusting this week, but the sun melted it yesterday. Took my fatty out of the shed though.
