Serotta CX gearing

What kind of gearing is that...considering something similar for one of my travel builds to simplify things (a ti cross bike built up w semi-slicks...set up SRAM 52.36 with 11 speed for now).

That's a 42t ring on the Serotta (Rival 1 der. and crankset), with 10 speed 11-34, which I just leave on for CX. The Classique CX is my main bike (suffers benign neglect well), but I do trot out the road bike (53/39) for local TTs and group rides.

Mixed surface ride Saturday. Steliacooms did nicely on some pretty good size rocks.



Road mode on Sunday. Maxxis Re-Fuse 32’s and dropped down to a 11-40.

Not a recent pic, but I rented a bike and rode up (and down) Haleakala in Maui back in May. Nice to finally check it off the list. Really lucked out on the weather.

Here's a pic from ~9,000ft up:


And another from the observation area (~10,000ft):
