Eastern Sierras - Death Valley this weekend. Started near Big Pine and went out to Eureka Dunes on Day 1, Saline Warm Springs on Day 2 and then climbed back out on Day 3 (ouch.) Highly recommended during the times of year it is possible - bring lots of water.

Awesome! I went camping last year in the Alabama Hills just outside Lone Pine. It's just incredible out there. But yeah, definitely stock up on water!

National Monument. That's the Colorado River about 300 feet down.

Weisan-Pal . . .

35 degrees here today. Cloudy. Nothing sprouting. Nothing green.

Stop taunting us with this stuff. Just. Stop it!

Attempted a long ride with some friends but one friend got two flats in two miles. Ugh.

Hills are fun. Since moving from Illinois to right along the Mississippi river valley I am remembering how much fun it is to ride where there is no flat road. Just did 40 miles and the flat ground totaled less than one mile. What a blast.

Killer bike.

With a sign like that, I would have guessed Colorado.
