Saw a bugatti ciron on Thursday. Starting price is over 2 million euro.

It had Michigan manufacturer plates so likely resides in and around Detroit.

I saw a GT40 like this one yesterday:

It had the excellent license plate of "GTEE 40".

It was very politely driven as it passed us. Which was, of course, appreciated, but also slightly disappointing, since we didn't get to hear any engine noise.

It was the first I've seen in person. Pictures and video don't get across the proportions well. It's very wide, and very low.

Chris

Saw one of these whipping around the backroads along NY/CT border. Most likely not road legal, but oh so sweet:

ps. I couldn't believe how small it was. Basically powerwheels sized

I found this picture today. I was riding up Ridgecrest Blvd which is one of the most scenic roads in America when I thought heard was a pack of ducati's behind me. Turned out it was a 1960 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder. The sound of the V12 is incredible. It is stored by my house and I have pulled up next to it on its way to the gas station (I think). It is incredible.

This picture is from several years ago...Neil Young in his 1963 Studebaker Avanti, in front of Robert's Market in Woodside, CA. My friend and I had just finished a ride on Skyline Blvd in the hills of the San Francisco peninsula (where Young owns a large ranch) and after descending to refill our water bottles we noticed this unique car and became accidental paparazzi.

I'd tell the story this way:

"My buddy and I had just finished a ride, and to celebrate I was going to take his picture at out last stop, then, just as I took his pic in front of the store a Studebaker cruises into the viewfinder - it was Neil Young photobombing my shot!"

Louis, your version of events sounds way more interesting :-)

Not sure if you can tell, but Neil doesn't look like he's too happy having his photo taken.

Didn't know about this thread until now.

My most recent siting of a rare car is a R32 or R33 Nissan GT-R right hand drive imported from Japan. I knew 2 in my state were legally imported but first time I saw it in person.

Otherwise I periodically see the boat car, a few Deloreans and I've seen an Ariel Atom before in my neck of the woods. Always on the highway so no time to snap a pic.

One of my condo neighbors had a Fisker, one of the five cars he parked in the condo parking garage.
