Where'd you buy your bike stuff in 2021?

Was driving past the shuttered Performance Bike store in Atlanta on my way to a class and thought about how it seems like I buy most of my stuff from the same handful of stores the last few years. Went and put together a couple charts during the breaks and was mildly surprised at where I've been shopping.

Figured I spent a lot more at Ebay than I actually did and a lot less at Aliexpress and REI. No LBS this year, no more Performance or Nashbar, nothing from Wiggle or Chainreaction, Harris Cyclery is gone, Craigslist doesn't have much now in the shadow of FB Marketplace, and probably a few more places I've forgotten over the years that I stopped shopping for one reason or another.

Anyone else feel or notice a consolidation of where they bought stuff the past couple years?

Quite the opposite - the variety of places I’ve bought stuff from has increased over the past year. With the scarcity of components, I’ve had to buy a little from here and a little from there.

I also still use LBS’ for things like wheel repair or where MSRP is tightly controlled, or if I want a new complete bike.

I bought more on the PL classifieds than everywhere else combined.

One set of wheels from PBK and inner tubes locally. That's all I spent on bikes in 2021. FWIW I stocked up on tires and chains in 2020 and have too much kit (at least Mrs. Bianchi thinks so).

On a total dollar amount LBS'.

I'm fortunate to have several excellent, well stocked shops nearby.

Otherwise, La Passione and ProBikeKit.

I'm curious what bicycle items you bought at Kroger? I've never seen anything bike related in any of the Kroger grocery stores I've been in.

Clif bars?

I bought stuff from xxcycle, Bike24, eBay, and Paceline Classifieds. Refuse to give a dime to Amazon if at all possible.

Classifieds, Ebay, a couple of LBSs, Bike24 was the online retailer I used the most.

That's an impressive, and somewhat frightening, level of analysis.

Most of my cycling spending this year was either Eliel or the shop on consumables.

I could not accurately tell where I bought bike related items. Some here on the classifieds, some ebay, at the LBS, the custom frameset I ordered came. I don't keep records of what or when I bought bike stuff. I know the wife thinks I buy too much.
